We had a blast at the Copics class today. At first we were unsure if we would be able to hold class due to the snowy weather......but it let up around noon and so the afternoon class was a go. I was so glad that everyone made it, especially Laura and Maryanne, as this was their FIRST Copics class! I'm happy to say they loved the markers!
Here are 2 of the cards we made. The hearts in the vase, (Outlines Rubber Stamp) were colored with RV10, 13, 14, & 19. Then the roses were Y11 & 17, and the leaves were YG 13 & 17. We also used BG 10 to accent the vase. The "love" stamp is by Hero Arts.
Here's another great Outlines Stamp, and we used C 1 & 4, and R35. This is just simple coloring, but the outcome is very dramatic, especially with the bling!
We made another card, using Stampendous' Fluffles!; but I'll have to post it tomorrow, as I forgot to bring it home to scan. :(

Valentine Cards
Here are two of the cards that you could make in the Valentine's class. I just love the pinks and light greens; it's like a breath of fresh air! The wreath is stamped on the gorgeous, printed Memory Box paper and I added those sparkling light pink crystals.
This is then inside of the first card. I continued with the Memory Box paper and used an Outlines saying stamp.
Here, again, I used Memory Box stamps and paper. The heart shapes came from Spellbinders Nestibilites and the lace border came from a Fiskars border punch.

"Heart" Wreath
Yesterday the Memory Box order arrived and I just LOVE all of their new stamps. They are going to make such elegant Valentine Cards. This "Heart" wreath is just one of the new stamps that came in.
And Dave sent me this lovely card made with the new "heart" wreath, flower soft and Memory Box printed paper. Isn't it just gorgeous? And so simple! I can see using the wreath for so many occasions; wedding, anniversary, and what about "welcome to your new home". You can even punch out tiny flowers or use the Tapestry stamps and decorate it that way. The list is endless.
Now I'm off to work and "play" with the new stamps. (Hope there will be time) I'll post some new Valentine cards as soon as I can. Oh yes, check my web calendar....I scheduled Valentine classes using these new stamps. The first of these classes will be next Thursday, Jan 21 at 1PM.
Hope you'll be able to make one!
Speak to you very soon,
Anna

Easy Bow Maker Demo
Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, with the help of Soni, we video taped my first demo! It was fun and it only took 3 tries! It reminds me the fun you see actors have while filming a movie. All of a sudden you just go blank, and start laughing.
It was a great experience and I hope you will find it informative. I know many of you have this little template, and either, forget or don't know how to use it.
So, sit back, enjoy, and hopefully, you'll dust off that plastic bow maker template and start making lots of bows! If you need more instruction on how to use it, just stop by the shop and I'll gladly show you in person!
Thanks for watching and check back often, as I will start to add little, helpful demos here!

Happy New Year!
And so it's the start of another new year. It just seems that time flies by more quickly each year.
Hope you enjoyed this very special time of the year with your family and friends. I have been very blessed to have celebrated this holiday season with my daughter, Maria and her boyfriend, Gary. They came up from Virginia on the 20th and stayed for a week! It just passed too quickly.
And so now I'm looking forward to the new year and new happenings for the Creative Corner. I'm so looking forward to the new Valentine stamps that will be coming from Memory Box, Outlines and Impression Obsession. I think all of you will be excited with the new designs.
I'm also working on the next Copic Class. I already have ordered a bunch of new Copic colors so I can experiment with them and decide which ones to include for the Valentines Class. Keep a look out in your mailboxes for information regarding the next class.
And last but not least, I will be attending 2 trade shows in the spring......yes, spring will be here before we know it! Thank goodness. After all this snow we have been having......it's nice to look forward to spring; let's keep spring in our minds!
The Collins Group (previously know as the Sue Gilman Co) Spring Show is scheduled for March and the Ecstasy Crafts show will be in Canada again at the end of April. Both these shows always give me LOTS of inspiration that I just love to pass on to you.
So, it's a new year, with new excitement in store for everyone! I'm looking forward to working with all of you. And I thank you for your friendship and support throughout the year. You are special!
