Really Nice Dress Form Cards from Shannon Maino

Hi Everyone!
Shannon showed me these great cards that she made with the Die Versions Dress Form die.  The layout is very pretty, girly and simple but make a big impression.

As you can see, the fold of the card is off center and gives some interest plus the black sparkly card stock gives it a really nice sparkle.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I would like to share with you the card we made at the Make & Take as well as 3 cards I received from fellow stampers.  Sit back, have a sip of your drink and enjoy!

Everyone had fun creating this quick and simple card.  We used paint chips and stamped the Impression Obsession Irish Blessing stamp in Staz-on and decorated the card with Impression Obsession's shamrock die and some stickles, of course.

Here is a great card made by Irene Slaughter.  It is very simple but makes quite an impact with all the glitter!

This is a card made by Sue Speck; a wonderful use of saying stamps and made into a wonderful collage.

Last, but not least is Carol Chiaramonte's card.  Carol has such a unique style and most times she 

uses everyday stamps for whatever occasion she needs!

Great Masculine Birthday Card with Little Deer!

Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to share with you a great card that Soni Larson made for her son!  I just love it!

As I said before, these deer dies have become so very popular and for good reason.  We used them on Christmas cards and they make great masculine nature themed cards.

Supplies used: 

Dies:  Impression Obsession small deer set, Impression Obsession fir trees and fir tree border,
          Spellbinders classic nesting ovals
Embossing folder:  Sizzix snow
Card stock:  Soni used some special pre-embossed "bark" card stock and "wood" card stock for the deer

Love is in the Air

I received this great card from a good friend and stamping buddy, Carol Chiaramonte the other day and wanted to share it with you.  I just loved the idea of using your printed card stock for the focal point.  And in this cases you can even use your scraps!!!

And for the inside, Carol punched out two hearts from the same paper so that it coordinates with the design on the front.  How clever; Carol always thinks and creates "outside the box".

Now, I am sure you have LOTS of scraps.  We all do!  You can now use this idea and create a card for ANY occasion!  And this idea can be used when you want to make a set of cards as a gift.  You will be able to make a set in almost no time and surprise someone with a wonderful, hand made gift!  (I was thinking, that this would make a great set of thank you notes;  and everyone can use thank you notes!)

Single Layer Valentine!

Surprise - this is the second post for the day!  I wanted to get another idea out for you!

This was another very quick card, yet I have to say it looks very pretty in real life since it sparkles  oh so much. 

Again, I used one of the latest dies from Impression Obsession and added several flowers to the flourishes, stamped the saying and added stickles to the center of the heart and along the flourishes.  The stickles really makes it pop and you forget that it is all on one layer.  Quick and easy and you get your card done in a reasonable amount of time (the little flowers slow you up a bit!)

Supplies:
Dies:  Impression Obsession heart flourish,  Impression Obsession hydrangea die set (for the little flowers)
Stamp:  Hero Arts
Other:  Stickles (diamond), Viva Decor pearl pen

Clean and Simple Valentine!

Good Friday Morning!
I want to share a clean and simple Valentine with you today.

I used two of the latest dies from Impression Obsession --- the "Love" script border and the mini hearts border.  Save the mini hearts that fall out from the border die and add it to this card as well as other creations!  I added the Cheery Lynn heart and leaves and the card was done!  Quick and easy but very pretty and modern looking - perfect for your special someone.

Dies:  Impression Obsession "Love" border, Impression Obsession mini hearts border. Cheery Lynn heart,   Cheery Lynn leaves

Valentine Sundaes

Hello, hello hello!

Sorry that I have been under the radar.............I'm glad to be back and today I have a special card to share with you!

I have seen this ice cream sundae stamp used by the Impression Obsession design team and thought how cute; I need to try something with it and so I stamped it several times and took out my Copics and started coloring.  It took a few tries to come up with the right colors and then I cut two out and started to play with a layout.

The Cheery Lynn doily gives it an old fashioned look and the hearts of course make you think of Valentine's Day.  But if you don't want to use this for Valentine's Day, it would be perfect for a birthday; especially for kids and teenagers.  And what about for those of us who remember sitting in an ice cream parlor and sharing a sundae with that special someone!

Hope this inspires you to start thinking about V-Day!  It will be here before we know it!

Dies:  Cheery Lynn doily, Nellie Snellen nesting hearts, Impression Obsession heart border (I used the tiny hearts that fell out from the heart border.  Will now have to think of another card to actually use the heart border)
